In 2022, life threw Mia a curveball. COVID had disrupted her source of income, leaving her to rethink how she could not just survive, but thrive. Rather than give up, Mia saw an opportunity: to bring a touch of everyday luxury to the people of Durban. Drawing on her passion for style and craftsmanship, she began quietly crafting something extraordinary  Durban’s first-ever demi-fine, 18k gold-plated permanent jewellery.

What started as a small passion project with her closest clients soon blossomed into a mission: to make permanent jewellery accessible, affordable, and effortlessly beautiful, without ever compromising on quality.

By September 2023, Mia unveiled her vision to the world. At a major pop-up hosted by Al Ansaar, she introduced the city to locally-crafted permanent jewellery for the very first time  and the response was electric. Durban had discovered a new way to wear luxury every day.
